Frequently asked questions

Is there a page limit?

No. Write a short scene or a full-length screenplay—there’s no 10-page cutoff or page cap.

Do I have to pay to export a clean PDF?

No. Writing and PDF export are free, with no watermark and no export paywall.

Can I bring my existing screenplay?

Yes. Import a Fountain (.fountain) or Final Draft (.fdx) screenplay and continue writing. It opens as a new Film project; title-page information isn’t imported, and some formatting may differ.
